Weekly Challenge #23
Morning all! It's a wet, non-windy winter's here today, so drawing indoors sounds like a really good idea!
Went for a stunning walk along the beach on Sunday with my gilrs and our dog and couldn't resist taking this photo of the battered sleepers and metal edging at the end of the beach...
I decided to try Laura's latest challenge and "tangle-lifted" her idea of using the icosahedron...I also used one of my own legends...so everytime I threw the dice, I had two tangles to do!

New Tangle...
Ok, I know I said once a month, but I was hit by
inspiration! I was trying to decide what to
wear and while gazing at my hanging shoe rack...
I saw a pattern and so my tangle Shooz was born!

May 2011
Ok, so I haven't exactly been very diligent about updating my blog...I'm still learning!
Anyway....it's been a fairly hectic year so far...I've been booked off work with "Professional Burnout" and am taking some well earned rest at home! I've been drawing and painting up a storm, which has been very therapeutic and relaxing. I'm going to try keep up the blog properly from now...so I'll make an entry every week and see how that goes.
So...we went away to Knysna for the Easter holidays and spent some fun time with my brother - who was in a photo shoot for Mountain Bike trails over the Montague Pass. Spent the day fooling around on bicycles before heading home.
Came across a fun baked nachos recipe in the holidays too, which I thought I'd share...
In a baking dish layer the following:
1 pkt of Cheesy Doritos (or other mexican style chip)
1 tin of Mexican tomato mix (bought or make your own!)
1 tub of Cottage cheese - creamy or chunky
Grated cheese
Grill until the grated cheese has melted and then eat :)
Chat next week!
